Blessing Day

We blessed the girls on January 3rd. It was such a great day. Dave did two amazing blessings and the girls were fantastic.

I wanted something different than the typical blessing gown so i decided to do fluff. I did pettiskirts with little shirts i had made and jazmins shoes. They also had their own ctr rings just like their brother on his special day.

Paisley talking to Presley

Chel with the girls

Cole was done taking pictures. We said to get Cole in our picture and this is what he did. He hid behind the diabetes cooler. So funny

Daddy girls!

Love my babies.

Paisley was soo tired after a long day.

Our family of 5!!

Cole with of course..his train. He is absolulty 100 percent obssessed with trains. It was such a great day and we are so thankful for all of our family and friends support to make it perfect. We love our girls and are glad we finally were able to bless them!

Crazy Sweet Cole!

Cole loves tyyyysoooon and loves to watch him play lacrosse.

My parents took him the night before the blessing so that Dave and I could get the two girls and the party afterward taken care of. Thanks mom and dad, he loves playing at mammas.

aaaa baa baa. Loves to drink!

Cole loves to watch us do P90X. He does all the moves with us.

This little boy loves to be silly, everytime we take off his shirts he runs around with them on his head. He loves to make us laugh.

No one seirously believes us that COle is the best big brother. He is so sweet and loving towards his sisters. Not once has he every tried to hur them. Dave caught this moment. He loves to give them a-bahs(kisses) and decided that apparently Paisley needed one while she was in the swing.

We went bowling on new years eve with my family and Cole could not understand why we could not bowl on all the empty lanes. He loves anything that has to do with a ball and can throw the ball better than i would say most kids and already plants his foot to kick a ball. Such a stud.

Once again Cole kissing presley. He has to make sure they are okay when they have the covers on them. He is always checking up on them and talks to them in his baby voice. When I load them into the car, I always load COle first because he is in the middle then i load the girls. He gets really nervous andpoints to the girls spot if they are not there yet. He also likes me to take out the girls first just to be safe :)

Cole loves to play with the girls and loves to show them how all the toys work. He is in charge of their swings and their toys he thinks.

This is not about COle but I had to post this, Chelsea decided Christmas eve to put this on our car....and no i don't drive a mini van, hence why we took off the stickers. thanks chel ;) you sure are sweet.

For some reason Cole will sit on anything that is his size. Here he is sitting on diapers, they just make a good soft seat i guess?
We love our little man.

Merry Christmas

This year we had such a great Christmas. The kids were spoiled like crazy and Cole got pretty much EVERYTHING that he wanted. It is always the best time of year to spend together in my opinion and it could not have been a better Christmas.

Anyone that knows Cole knows what a great eater he is. I mean this kid and eat and drink with the best of them. This is his messy face. Cut but very messy.

Here are the twinners, ALL GIRL!!!

We went to my parents house first..can you see we were all spoiled?

My parents gave him this chair for one of his many presents and he is in LOVE with it. He rides his trains on the upper back of it and also places his bottle on the back of the chair. My parents also gave Paisley and Presley one, Coles thinking is that they are all 3 his and until they know that they are theirs we will play along. RIght now we have one downstairs, one in his room and one in our room. Perfect so Cole has his chair everywhere we go. Thanks sisters for sharing.
It was such a great Christmas and we are truly blessed.

Polar Express Chirstmas Time

Before Christmas we went to Oakridge for brunch. It was delcious and so much fun.

The girls outfits say naughty and nice. I believe this day it was Paisley who was naughty :)

We also went on the Polar Express with my family. It was so much fun and the kids were zonked. "WE BELIEVE"

Polar Express

GO UTES!!!!

Love the screaming picture of Cole with Santa. More pics to come soon!

Our little girls and Cole as you can tell are the happiest, best babies you would ever see. They are so sweet and they bring so much happiness to our lives. They are so cute and we love having two little girls in our house. They truly are amazing. THey are getting so big in my opinion but when people see them most people think that they are 1-2 months old. Its crazy how small they still are. We are getting more and more used to 3 kids and have figured it out quite well in my opinion. I thought it would be so much harder than it is. We do it everyday and we would not ask for it any other way. It would be so boring just to have 1 baby now. Having twins has been so much fun and we could not ask for a better bigger brother. We were so blessed to be parents to Cole first and we are so blessed to be all of our kids mom and dad. We seriously have the best kids, they never cry and they are always so happy. I guess they knew they had to be if there was 3 of them this close in age!

Presley Smiling :)

Presley again...so cute

Our smiley Paisley

she can't help but open her mouth to smile

always dressed alike...How fun is that!!

Daddy's Girls, Presley left Paisley Right

Cole with Baby Alive...I watched the kids while my parents went to New York. Cole has to have his binkie, bottle, baby and bouncer all at the same time.. At first we were afraid of Baby Alive, but he then took a liking to her.

Thanksgiving was such a good time. Here are the grandkids. Please don't call the department of child services on me. THe girls are just being "loved" haha I always love spending time with family and how thankful we are this year. WE have the most amazing family supporting us, and of course how grateful we are for Cole, Paisley and Presley. I am also so thankful for my husband. I love Dave more than anything he truly is amazing.

Disneyland

Every December my family goes to Disneyland..this year we were not sure if we were going to go because of Pais and Pres. Well after much talk we figured we could do it on our own with the twins..but my aunt was nice enough to offer and we felt so comfortable with leaving them knowing how much they would be loved and taken such good care of. Thank you again Folsoms we love you guys..

Cole had so much fun with just mom and dad. He loved going on the rides and really just enjoyed the whole thing. His favorite ride was Its a Small World. We went on that ride at night so the lights lit up every 15 minutes...he loved it! Here we are at Bugs Life. I love this picture because Cole's nose is like Jazmins nose so glasses don't stay on him at all. He always plays with my glasses and it just does not work.

Dave was quite excited to see Donald Duck

Lately Cole is really into Trains...so you can imagine how great this train ride was. My mom and dad have the cutest train set at their house and Cole says, "i wanna trains" My mom and Chelsea love playing with him so he is spoiled all the time. I love watching Cole play toys he is so adorable. Christmas this year with be the best.

Downtown Disney. Thanks again Dad it was so much fun and I look forward to this trip everyyear. (just ask Dave) It is one of my favorite traditions.

The twins did great while we were gone. I think it was a really good thing. I missed them like crazy, and even the first night started crying because i missed them. Cole really enjoyed this time and it was nice to get sleep with only one baby waking up. I knew the twins were in such great care otherwise I would of never left them. I was so excited to see them!

Photo Shoot and 2 months old

The girls are 2 months old. I love this age...i actually love the whole baby age and Cole is so much fun. The girls are both smiling back when you talk to them. They are getting so big and we are having fun with them. Cole is such a great big brother and loves his sisters. He continues to talk up a storm and always learning new words, it is amazing how much this little boy says for being only one. Having 3 kids is so much work but it is such a blessing.

Happy 1st Birthday Cole!

My little buddy is already one years old. We can't believe that he is one. Cole is by far the one of 2 best things taht has ever happened to me and Dave. Without Cole who knows if I would of ever been able to get pregnant. We know that he is ours and he just had to come another way to be ours. We love him so much and know that because of him we have the other best thing which is Paisley and Presley. He is such a handsome little boy and truly is the happiest baby ever. He never cries and he is so sweet. Here are some things that Cole loves to do at one years old.
-Walking. He has been walking since 8 1/2 months old and is so busy.
-Loves to play with toys. He loves to play with his cousins and wants to be as big as they are. he copies everything they do and thinks that they are hilarious.
-Talks all the time. He says multiple words including: one, batman, football, mama, dada, baba, chels, more, yes, no, baby...that is all off the top of my head!!
-loves to brush his teeth
-follows his dad EVERYWHERE
-follows his grandma like he is her shadow
-loves the broom, and vacuum, (can you tell he is grandma's little man)?
-going up and down stairs
-playing outside
-climbing under furniture
-playing ball
We are so thankful for our buddy! We love you Cole

Little update on twins and our life.
I get asked on a daily basis the same questions so i thought i would answer some of them taht everyone is wondering
Was i on clomid?
heavens no. I had a two month old when I found out I was pregnant, need i say more?
How do you do it?
This one I don't have an answer except for I just do. There are so many times I wonder how am I going to do it tomorrow? But the answer is you just do it is your life and you just need to embrace it. I also have had the best support from family. My mom has been unbelievable and I swear between her and Chelsea they take the babies at least 2 a week so i can sleep through the night. That has been my saving grace. So thank you to family!
What do you do when all 3 are crying?
This one luckily has not happened very often, but I usually just deal with it. I have learned how to balance both twins on me and I can usually distract Cole and play with him until he is happy.
How has Cole done with the twins? Cole has done great! He does get jealous but he is such a good boy and tries to be so soft with them.
Are they identical?
no Paisley and Presley look so different its crazy. I also get if I can tell them apart..(which i thnk is such a silly question) but yes I could in the hospital just by looking at them for a split second.
How are the nights?
the nights are hard. Cole still wakes up a couple times and Paisley and Presley, well they are newborns. But once again i am so thankful to family and most of all David.
Those are the questions I get asked most often but if you ahve any other questions let me know! :)
The twins are so much fun and they are such sweet little girls. Presley is our little drama queen and Paisley is our little sweetheart! We truly are so grateufl for both of them and cannot imagine our life with out them. A year ago dave and i had no kids and here we are a year later with 3! We are so blessed!!!

One Month Old

Paisley and Presley are already a month old. I can't believe how fast time goes. The first month has been so much fun and we are loving having 3 kids. It can be a bit stressful at times and we are tired pretty much all the time, but we would not trade our life for the world. We are so grateful for these little girls and for Cole. At the girls 2 week appointment they each weighed 6 lbs even! They are grwoing like crazy and are finally able to fit into their preemie jammies. Cole is doing surprisingly well. He loves his sisters and loves when they are in their car seats, he talks to them all the time. Cole is jabbering all the time and is so busy. Things are really good and we love life.

Presley and Paisley Carroll

Introducing our little girls...Presley Danielle Carroll and Paisley Ann Carroll. They were born on Sept 29,2009 at 9:38 and 9:49. They are the sweetest little girls and we love them so much. Cole has adjusted really well and does not seem to really mind that they are here. He tries to share everything with them and will give them lots of kisses. We are trying to adjust to 3 kids under the age of 1 year but things are going really well. We are loving our new additions!

10 months and Update on the Princesses!

We are so excited it is already September. We never thought that we would make it this far with the twins, so we are exctied to be this far and are hoping for at least 2 more weeks (well I am pretty much ready). Bedrest is hard not only on me but Dave, Cole, my family. I hate sappy posts but I have to tell Dave how much I appreciate him. My family has been joking about how tired Dave looks all the time. He works all day and then comes home and takes care of Cole since I cannot even lift my baby boy. He takes care of him throughout the night, because yes our 10 month old does still sleep with us and has to be cuddled througout the night. Really we have tried everything with Cole to try to get him to sleep but lets just face it we have spoiled him rotten, even my mom says she has never seen such a spoiled little boy. Dave is the best Dad and Cole loves him more than anything. I am so thankful for a husband who never complains and takes care of Cole because he loves doing it. He also takes care of me and waits on me hand and foot. He brings me all my meals and makes sure that I don't get up at all, (even when I would love nothing more than to get up for a few minutes). I love you Dave. I am also so thankful for my family, espeically my mom. She has taken Cole everyday when Dave works while I have been on bedrest, Cole absolutly loves going to my moms house and getting even more attention. I tell my mom all the time that its not only Dave and I that made him spoiled rotten, my mom, dad and sisters have done their FAIR share of helping out in that area. Cole loves his grandma and knows that she would do anything for him. He definatly knows how to get what he wants from my mom. So thank you mom, dad and sisters. My dad and sisters always love him and hold him and play with him. I love you guys. Being on bedrest has been so hard but I am so thankful for such amazing support I have with both my family and Dave's family. Here are some pictures of Cole: because honestly how cute is he..... the poor little guy has no idea what is about to happen to his little life...

Can we say he may be a little jealous of the twins already? He loves to sit in the twins pack in play and when you ask him if he wants to get out he shakes his head no. But he does love the twins and everytime he sees my stomach bare he gives them kisses. He is so sweet.

Look at this bum! It is so stinking cute and reminds me of little Jaz's bum when she was little, he has got junk in his trunk!

Since being on bedrest Cole has found a way to get into everything, and when I mean everything it really has been everything. He loves the toilet paper and the toilet. Plays in the toilet paper every chance he can and we have to be really careful to put the lid down on the toilet or Cole is splashing in the toilet. He also has figured out how to open our cabinets, even though we thought we would have more time because they have no handles on them. He also takes anything and will throw it down the stairs! He climbs up the stairs all by himself, and would like to think he can go down although we have not ventured to that spot yet.

As for when the twins will come we are really expecting any day. I go still 2 a week to NST (non stress tests) and to my doctors oncec a week. I have been admitted to Labor and Delivery already 3 times because of my contractions and was admitted earlier this week with the worry of delivery. I was not dialated which is fabulous but I am currently on medicine to make my contractions not as constant. I feel them constantly and hoping that maybe the medicine will kick in anytime! I go again tomorrow to the doctor and I am NOT going to be admitted again to Labor and Delivery! (at least I keep telling myself that) Labor and Delivery is no fun and very painful everytime I go. Wish us luck and lets hope we have at least 2 more weeks with these little princesses on the inside!

Bedrest :(

Well I have officially been on bedrest for over a week now. This is how our bed rest story got started. I go to LDS maternal fetal medicine quite a bit to be honest I have had over 11 ultrasounds and feel very lucky and feel like we know our babies already. Well Dave has not had the opproutnity to go up to LDS maternal fetal with me so last Wednesday I had an appointment and we decided to go up there and get my NST (non stress test). We went up there and I got hooked up to the monitors while Dave followed Cole all over. The babies heartrates are perfect the only thing that was out of the blue was the amount of contractions I was having. I knew I had been having contractions because I have constantly felt them but I had no idea the extenet or the seriousness of them. After the Dr came in to check them out she told me I was contracting every minute to minute and half and that they needed to send me to labor and delivery next door. Next door I went, and hooked up all over again, after endearing many lovely tests and getting 2 iv's as well as getting my blood drawn and getting shots to help stop the contractions i was pretty much scared to death of delivering and still am! I asked the nurse what the worst possible outcome was and she told me delivery and it would be at IMC. I wanted to deliver at LDS and still do. But the best case scenario would be bed rest at home. This was something we knew was probably going to happen but i was in denial about it. At this point my mom came to the rescue to rescue Dave and get Cole out of the hospital scene the little room was a little to small for Cole and with limited toys. After getting steriod shots for the little girls they decided that they would let me go home but i was on the strictest bed rest possible without being confined to a hospital bed. So home we went and here i am still in my bed. The next day I was able to go back to the hospital to recieve another steriod shot just in case the babies decided they wanted to get here quicker than expected. Well we are thankful they are still in and they are still kicking and moving as much as they can in there. I have 3 appointments a week and have gone to 2 of them, believe it or not it is so nice to be able to get out of the house even though they are doctors appointments. We had a NST and ultrasound on Tuesday and I met with my doctor yesterday. Things are going better although I am still confined to my bed. The contractions are still there but not as close and the babies are now 3 pounds 3 ounces yay!!! The uncomfortableness is out of control, and my sleeping is very limited in the night. I love these babies but we need them to cook at least for a couple more weeks. I am so thankful for Dave and he has helped out so much with Cole and Cole has become qauite the daddy's boy. Also thank you so much to my family they have been able to help out with Cole and Cole is so lucky to have such close cousins to play with! Another doctor appt tomorrow !

9 Months and WALKING!

Yes Cole turned 9 months on the 5 of August and he was already walking. He is so big and so advanced for his age. He loves to walk everywhere. He literally started walking by himself somewhat at 8 1/2 months and by 9 months he had it perfecdted. He also decided since he could walk that he could crawl too. He has never been interested in crawling ever so noe he just crawls when something is on the ground or if he needs to get somewhere to stand up on something. He also has discovered his cheesy face and shows his cheesey face quite often. He makes car noises when he plays with cars and is absolutly amused with planes and helicopters (definatly taking after his grandpa on that one). He is such a big boy and we are O so thankful that he is walking! He knows how big he has to be for his little sisters and we love him for that. He is going to be the best big brother out there.

Del Mar 2009

Each year we go to California and hang out on the beach, go shopping and just spend time together. It is so much fun and I am so lucky to have such an amazing family. About a week prior to leaving to San Diego I had a Doctors appointment and they were quite concerned with the babies weight being so low. They told me that i needed to gain weight as well as the babies. I was talking to Dave on the way home and my doctor had advised that Dave needed to come home or the chance of bedrest was pretty high. Dave was home within a couple of days. It was so nice to see Dave and Cole couldn't of been happier. Well we had already booked my ticket to Del Mar with my doctors permission months earlier because i would of had more help in California than at home by myself. So off to Del Mar Cole and I went.

Cole is such a good baby. Here he is in his stroller of couse with his feet up. He would not do it any other way. He always has to have his feet up on something especially when he is in the stroller.

Cole and I at Seal Beach. He loved California because we are right on the beach and everytime a plane would go by he would look up in the sky and wave and do his cheesy face.

Cole and Jazmin. You ask Cole where Jaz is and he will look all around to find her, and when he finds her he is so happy about it. She is SOOO good to him and Cole loves her more than anything.

My mom and jaz swimming with Cole. Tyson was able to get my mom in the pool by pushing her in. My mom is not much of a swimmer in the pool, she loves to get her tan on. Can you believe she is a grandma? I LOVE MY MOM AND FAMILY!

Cole liked the taste of the salty water so once again his hands are in his mouth ewwww

So big with grandma...loved the beach.

splash splash splash

cutest little boy ever....we decided against his swim trunks because of the sandy mess we encountered even in the diaper.

Chel and COle. All my sisters help out with cole so much so half of the time when we go somewhere no one can figure out who he belongs to especially since I am pregnant!

At every resturant Cole has to sit sideways in the highchair because he is always involved in everyone elses conversation. I always tell Cole to join our table but he seems to enjoy the attention of everyone else and likes looking at everyone!
